Analisis Pengaruh Belanja Modal Dan Tenaga Kerja Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Di Kota Padang

Abstract. Economic growth is a continuous process that changes the economy of a region for the better. In other words, economic growth focuses on increasing local production and GDP. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of capital expenditure and the number of workers on the economic growth of the city of Padang from 2007 to 2020. The method used in this research is the multiple linear regression analysis model or Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The data used comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the World Bank. The results of the study show that the capital expenditure variable has a significant negative effect on economic growth, while the labor variable has a non-significant positive effect on economic growth in Padang City from 2007 to 2020

Abstrak. Pertumbuhan ekonomi adalah proses berkelanjutan yang mengubah ekonomi suatu wilayah menjadi lebih baik.  Dengan kata lain, pertumbuhan ekonomi berfokus pada peningkatan produksi lokal dan PDB. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh belanja modal dan jumlah tenaga kerja terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Kota Padang tahun 2007 hingga tahun 2020. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan model analisis regresi linear berganda atau Ordinary Least Square (OLS). Data yang digunakan bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik dan World Bank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk variabel belanja modal berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sedangkan variabel tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kota Padang pada tahun 2007 hingga 2020
